Dr. Christina Wong

Prior to obtaining her dental degree , Dr. Christina Wong was trained and worked as a full time registered nurse in BC and Alberta. She has also received formal training in a variety of fields including:

  • Emergency and intensive care nursing from the University of Alberta.
  • Hard and soft tissue laser, implantology and gum surgery.

Dr. Christina Wong has practiced in B.C. since 1994. She is an active participant in a wide variety of postgraduate study groups and regularly attends continuing education seminars locally and internationally.

Dr. Wong has developed a deep passion for heath care since childhood. After working full time as a nurse for four years, Dr. Wong decided to pursue a career in dentistry. Her nursing experience enable Dr Wong to be very comfortable in treating patients of various health issues including those with complex medical problems.

Dr. Wong strongly believes in life-long learning and she has completed extensive post – graduate continuing education in comprehensive dentistry, perio surgery, CT Scan Imaging, laser, implant, cosmetic and oral sedation dentistry from many world renowed dental leaders in various institutes including: The Dawson Academy, The Misch Implant Institute, the Kois Center, AAID Maxicourse (American Academy of Implant Dentistry), gIDE (Global Institute for Dental Education), World Laser Institute, the Perio Institute, UBC Continued Dental Education and the DOCS Education.
